Biography

Albert B. Roth was born on 28 Jan 1892 from the WWI draft registration and census, my grandmother had May 20, 1903. He is the son of Henry Roth and Martha Weick.
He married Lena Borman, they had 3 ch. and 7 g.ch.

3. Bernard Henry Roth b.14 Feb 1926, m. Eleanor Barnes, resided 39 Beckwith Road Killingsworth, CT. Volunteer firefighter, WWII veteran. He owned Roth Custom Building. He died 7 Aug 1999 buried Tabor Cemetery, Branford, CT. She is survived by her cousin, John Manfolk of Arlington, TX and other friends. She retired after 45 years from Lomas and Nettleton Company. ----- Eleanor was a life-long member of Tabor Lutheran Church in Branford. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a graveside service in Tabor Cemetery, Branford at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 15, 2013. A special thanks to all her nurses, hospice care givers and her special care giver, Marianna at her previous residence of The Hearth at Gardenside. ----- In lieu of flowers, please make donations to CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 0611 in memory of Eleanor Roth. Albert Roth age 88 widow, died 24 Jul 1981 in New Haven, resided at 18 Fiore St, 3 children and 7 grand children, he was a fireman in the US Navy for 5 and half years before WWI, he was a mechanic for the Marlen Arms Company during World War I, and a brakeman and later a conductor for the New York New Haven and Hartford Railroad.
