Records - Not much is found for Norman. The A.M. Kingsbury source listed here is the primary source that indicates a Norman born to Ebenezer. The 1840 census seems to have a male living in the family that matches him. The burial record in New Orleans seems to be a match, as the birth year seems right, and it indicates he is born in Ohio (the informant probably knew he came from Ohio - not too serious of an error). Also, his sister Ellen was married in New Orleans in 1854, so the location that tied the siblings together is logical (perhaps she went to New Orleans with her brother, then met a man and got married). Additionally, two of his siblings (Ellen and William) named a son "Norman".
