Sarah J. Hipsher[1] was born 1 September 1874[1][2] in Tennessee[2] to William Hipsher[1] and Nancy (Shockley) Hipsher[1].

She married John A. German[3] on 27 February 1909[3] in Hamblen County, Tennessee[3].

Sarah passed away on 6 October 1939[1] in Putnam County, Indiana[1] from coronary thrombosis[1] and was buried in New Maysville Cemetery, New Maysville, Indiana[4].
