Constance was born about 1904. She was the daughter of Matthew Stubley.
In the 1911 census Constance (age 6), School, was the daughter of Matthew Stubley in Uppingham, Rutland, England.[1]
She passed away about 1958.
The christening record gives the mother of Constance to be Emily Catherine Stubley. The only person with a name which remotely fits this is Emma Catherine Stubley who is Constance's elder 'sister' (by 20 years).
This would mean that Matthew was the father in a sexual relationship with his own daughter. It might explain why Charlotte moved 45 miles away and took her daughter with her.
Investigations are ongoing.
