Lavinia was born 5 May 1786 and baptized 25 Jun 1786, daughter of Josiah and Sarah Frisbie [1][2]. She lived in New Haven, CT, all of her life and appears in many city directories from the 1840s to 1860s. She does not appear to have married or had children. She passed away in 1866 [3]. In her will [4][5] she leaves everything to her nephews and the daughter of her niece.
Research Notes
Some sources have a Lavinia Frisbie of about this age married to Joel Tryon. There are a surprising number of Lavinia Frisbies, or small variations on that name, and there is a lot of evidence that this Lavinia Frisbie is not that wife.
