Biography
Ross Mahon was born in 1725. He was the son of Ross Mahon and Jane Ussher.
He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1746 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) He lived at Castlegar, Ahascragh, County Galway, Ireland.
He married Lady Anne Browne, daughter of John Browne, 1st Earl of Altamont and Anne Gore, on 12 October 1762, with whom he had nine children, including Sir Ross Mahon, who became the 1st Baronet Mahon, of Castlegar, co. Galway in 1819.

Harriette married Annesley-Gore Knox, Esq. of Rappa Castle, CO. Mayo, in 1793. She died 3 November 1840.
