Jemima Haskell was the daughter of Thomas Haskell and Priscilla (Royal) Haskell of New Gloucester, Maine (then in Masachusetts).[1] Based on the age at her death from her gravestone, she was born about 1770.[2]
Marriage
On 24 Jul 1791, Jemima Haskell and Nathaniel Chase, both of Bucktown, Maine, published at Turner, Maine, (both towns then in Massachusetts) their intention to marry, and they married at Turner on 3 Sep 1791.[3] The Chase genealogy says that Jemima was of New Gloucester as of their marriage.[4]
Death
A gravestone at the Lowell Cemetery in Buckfield, Maine, says that Jemima Chase died on 13 Dec 1831 at the age of 61.[2]
