Biography

Rachael Rebecca Hiltz was born to John Hiltz and Sophia Corkum in 1848 in Sherbrooke, New Ross, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. She was baptised in 1848 in St. Stephen's Angelican, Chester. ^[1]

Rachel had a daughter, Blanche Edyth Hiltz, b. 3 Jan 1870. ^[2] Blanche's father was said to be a Smith, of Chester, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. ^[3]

Rachel married Edmund Moore, son of James Moore and Charlotte, on 13 Dec 1871 in St. Stephen's Angelican, Chester. ^{[4] [5]}
