"Another early settler in New York State was Hugh McMillan, born on the northern shore of Loch Eil, Lochaber, Scotland, sometime after 1745. He was a son of John McMillan, small farmer there. Sometime before 1770 Hugh married Christiana Cameron and emigrated to Queensbury, N.Y. about 1775, and later at Stony Creek In 1798."[1][2]
