Henry Chappelle is a part of US Black heritage.

Henry was born in 1829 in South Carolina. He passed away after 1887 but before 1900.

In the 1880 census, Henry (age 51), Laborer, was the married head of household in Winnsboro, Fairfield, South Carolina, United States.^[1]

When Henry's son, John, was married on 25 April 1887, Henry was recorded on John's marriage document as still living.^[2] However, Henry died sometime prior to the 1900 census record, at which time his wife, Patsy, was recorded as a widow.^[3]
