Biography
Susan White was daughter of Richard White of Hutton in Essex, and his wife, Maud Tirrell. [1]
She married the herald Thomas Tonge, who died in 1536 and was buried in the Church of St. Mary Overy in Southwark. [2]
First Lady of the Privy Chamber to Queen Mary.[2]. Susan Clarencieux served Queen Mary beginning when Mary was a Princess; their friendship lasted for many years (and could prove to be very lucrative for Susan). After the death of the queen, Susan settled in Spain [3].
