Margaret was born on 7 Oct 1785 and baptised on 3 Oct 1785. [This is probably an error in the indexing and she was likely born 3 Oct 1785 in Lilliesleaf and baptised 7 Oct 1785 at Makerston.] Her parents were Thomas Balmer and Agnes Mather.
She married Andrew Usher in 1806
She passed away in 1860 and is buried in the Grange Cemetery, Edinburgh
