Birth

Matilde Williams was born at Easton, Massachusetts, on 18 Sep 1764, the daughter of Benjamin Williams and Abiah (Howard) Williams.^[1]

Marriage

Matilde Williams of Easton, Massachusetts, married James Fillebrown of Mansfield, Massachusetts, at Mansfield on 5 Jun 1782.^[2]

Death

The 1910 Fillebrown genealogy says that Matilda (Williams) Fillebrown died at Readfield, Maine, on 6 Apr 1838, two days after the death of her husband.^[3] Her gravestone at the Readfield Corner Cemetery gives the date as 7 Apr 1838 and says that she was 73 years old at her death.^[4]
