Thomam was born about 1837. ^[1]

He married Celiam Cox at Ballinameen, Ireland in 1861.^[2][3]

They came to Australia in 1862 on the Marco Polo. ^[4]

His wife Cecelia died in 1879.^[5][6]

In 1883 he married widow Bridget Anne (Minahan) McCarthy.^[7]

Thomas died in October 1910 in Footscray, Victoria, aged 69 years.^[8]

The funeral was held 17 Oct 1910, departing from the residence of his daughter (Mary (Casserly) Shearer (1871-1940)).^[9][10]

Research Notes

Searched Victoria BD&M and no death in 1899 (mix up with son - same name). Searched all variations of the name. I did find a grave in 1910 but no matching death certificate. Below is the closest death certificate for name Casserly. I believe this is Thomas’s death.
