Mary Adams was born 30th July 1840,[1] baptised 6th December 1840, [2][3]St Andrew, Holborn, Middlesex, England, United Kingdom. Her parents Benjamin Adams and Elizabeth Stotter. Q No siblings.

In 1841 her parents and herself are residing at St Andrew Holborn, Middlesex, England, in an institution with many others.

Age just approximately 16 she married James Waddington on 26 December 1856, [4][5][6] St Andrew, Holborn, Middlesex. Together they had 5 children, 3 sadly died during infancy:

  1. Jane "Elizabeth" (1857 - 1929)[7]
  2. Charles (1860 - 1940)[8] [9]
  3. James (1864 - 1864)[10]
  4. William (1865 - 1865)[11]
  5. Mary (1866 - 1866)[12]

Her husband died age only 30, in 1870, London City, England, leaving behind Mary and their children Elizabeth and Charles.
