Biography

Born circa 1786, the son of James Molony and Selina Mills.

James married, c. 1820, Harriet Harding, dau. of Wm. HARDING, of Baraset House, Warwick, and Harriet Sweetland. ^[1] Harriet, accompanied James to India/China in 1820. ^[2] She died 8 Oct 1826. ^[3] Child of James and Harriet:

• Harriet Molony, (died young)

For 20 years he was in the service of the East India Company. ^[4]

He married secondly to Lucy Wheler, daughter of Sir Trevor Wheler, 8th Bt. and Harriet Beresford, on 15 April 1828, at Rochester. ^[5] Children of James Molony and Lucy Wheler:
