He passed away in 1866. ^[2]

Nicholas Eddy shows as born about 1817 on this entry. However, there's some difficulty in reading the 1860 Winston CTY, AL census, and he may have actually been born around 1812. He passed away about 1868, but it may have been as late as 1870.. ^[3]
