Biography
Michael Joseph Murray was born on June 11, 1875 in Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee, United States, son of John William Murray (~1845–1915) and Mary Ann Flanagan (~1836–1920).
In 1880, Michael (5) was living in the household of Jno. Murray (41) in District 22, Davidson County, Tennessee. [1]
In 1900, Michael (25) was living in the household of John Murray (55) in Nashville, Ward 8, Davidson County, Tennessee. [2]
In 1904, Michael graduated from the Vanderbilt University School of Dentistry, but spent much of his life working in the Post Office. [3]
In 1910, Michael (35) was living in the household of John Murray (64) in Nashville, Ward 8, Davidson County, Tennessee. [4]
Michael registered for the draft for World War I. [5]
In 1920, Michael (45) was living in the household of Mary Murrey (80) in Nashville, Ward 8, Davidson County, Tennessee. [6]
On October 5th, 1921, Michael married, at age 46, to 28-year-old Lillian Josephine Byrne. They were married in St Benedict’s Catholic Church in Greensboro in North Carolina. [7][8]

On the phone, 10 Jul 2016, Owen A. Hines' granddaughter, Kate Murray Hines, told me, Ben Couch III, the following story about her grandfather. While still a young man, Owen Aloysius Hines (1876-1957) went drinking with a good friend, a dentist. After getting smashed, the dentist friend pulled every one of Owen's teeth!
