Biography
Nathaniel Van Sand Britton was the son of Margaret Jones and Joseph Britton. He was born 7 May 1809 in Washington, Tennessee.[1]
He married Louisa Benson 10 Jul 1847 in Carroll County, Missouri. He is listed as Vincent Britton in one record. [2][3] Looking at the 1850 census, it looks like this is Louisa's second marriage, since there is a son Newton (Newman) G Benson aged 11 years listed.
