On 4 Mar. 1801, Job was first married in Merrimack, NH to Jane Darrah,[2] daughter of James Darrah (1754-1829) and Sarah Kidder (c.1754-1836) of Bedford, NH. Jane was born 27 Nov. 1777 at Bedford, NH. They had ten children born at Bedford, NH:

Nancy, b. abt. Sep. 1819; d. 20 Feb. 1848 (unm.).
Job lost his wife, when Jane died on 15 Nov. 1822 at Bedford, NH. She was 44.
Job was married a second time on 7 Aug. 1823 to Mary (Dows) Parker, the daughter of Benjamin Dows, Jr. (1752-1821) and Abigail Frost (1747-1788). She was the widow of John Parker (1784-1816) of Billerica, MA. Mary was born 9 Sep. 1785 at Billerica, MA. Mary had five children by her first husband who all predeceased her. Job and Mary had three children born at Merrimack, NH:
Ephraim Parker, b. 1824; m1. Olive Annis, 23 Aug. 1848; m2. Mary Pressy, 16 May 1855
Elizabeth, b. 25 Oct. 1826; m. Stephen Edwin Sawtelle, 28 Apr. 1847; d. 8 Sep. 1886, and
Clarissa H., b. abt. 1828; died young.
This family was living in Merrimack, NH when the 1820,[3] 1830[4] and 1840[5] censuses were taken.
Job passed away of erysipelas in 1850, at age 73. Widow Mary Bailey “of Concord” [NH] executed a will 24 Mar. 1858. In this will, she left:
$100 and all her clothing to her daughter, Elizabeth, wife of Edwin Sawtelle of Concord, NH
$100 to her son Ephraim P. Bailey
$1200 to Charles Bailey, son of James D. Bailey, deceased
$100 to George Bailey, son of Daniel W. Bailey, deceased
$100 to William Bailey, “son of my late husband Job Bailey”
$50 each to Jane Woods, wife of Henry Woods, and to Elisabeth Bailey, both children of Thomas Bailey, deceased
$100 to Mary Jane Chase, wife of John Chase, and
the remainder of her estate after debts paid to her children Ephraim P. Bailey and Elisabeth Sawtelle in equal shares.
Mary Bailey died 10 May 1860 at Bedford, NH, at age 74. Job and his first wife were buried in Old Bedford Cemetery, Bedford, NH.[6][7] His second wife was buried in Bedford Center Cemetery, Bedford, NH, with her first husband.[8]
