Biography
Cicely was born on the 14 January 1910. She is the daughter of Charles Cole and Edith Crosbie.[1][2]
In November 1926 Cicely sat the Public Service Entrance Examination. The results, showing that she had passed were published in January 1927.[3]
Cicely and Hugh were married on the 30 October 1937. [4]
On the 24 December 1938 Cicely gave birth to a daughter. [5] Cicely and Hugh were living at 11 Brewster Avenue, Mt Albert, at this time.
Cicely was widowed when Hugh died on the 26 August 1973.
She married Hugh Neil Bibby in ???
She was awarded the Queen's Service Medal (QSM) in the 1998 New Year Honours List for public services. [6]
Cicely was 92 years old when she died on the 5 July 2002.[7]
Her remains were cremated and the ashes interred with her first husband at Pyes Pa Cemetery. The grave is in the Old RSA section, Row A, Plot 104. [8]
