Elizabeth was born in 1831 in Twinstead, Essex[1]. She was the daughter of Daniel Flower and Susan (Warren) Flower.
In 1841 Elizabeth is living with her parents, siblings and an uncle in Long Gardens, Twinstead[2]
At the time of the 1851 census the family are living in Broad Road, Twinstead. [3]

Elizabeth married Joseph Frost in Twinstead, Essex on 10 Apr 1854 [4][5]
Joseph, Elizabeth and their eldest child Sarah emigrated to New Zealand on the 'Grasmere' leaving London on 9 January and arriving in Lyttelton on 4 May 1855. [6]
The family eventually settled in Rangiora. Eight more children were born after their arrival in New Zealand.
She passed away in 1904 in Christchurch[7][8] and is buried in Rangiora East Belt Cemetery.[9]
