Source 1: A record of the marriage of William M. Brigham to Mary C. Kendall in Bolton, Worcester, Massachusetts in 1883. RE: William, this record gives his place of birth as Marlboro (Marlborough), Middlesex, Massachusetts; gives his age at the time of this 1883 marriage as 29; tells us he was a farmer at this time; and gives us the names of his parents as: "George H. and Anna W. (Lucas) Brigham.

Source 2: A record of the birth of this William M. Brigham in Marlborough, MA in 1854. NOTE: The penmanship in the original document is difficult to read and the transcriber has some of the names spelled wrong including Brigham which is spelled "Brighum" by the transcriber; and his mother's middle initial which is given as "W." when we believe it to be an "M."

Source 3: The 1900 US Census finds this William M. Kendall heading a household in Bolton, Worcester, Massachusetts with his wife, Mary C., and two children. For this William the head of the household, the record says in 1900, he is 46 yr old, farmer, born in February 1854.

Source 4: The 1910 US Census finds this William M. living in Bolton, Worcester, Massachusetts, with his wife Mary and daughter, Helen. Now, the son, William H. has moved out (probably married), but now an adopted son John K. (a 13yr old at this time), is living with William M. and the family. For that John K., the record says his father was born in the U.S. but that his mother was born in Sweden. For this William M. in this census, he is given as a 56yr old farmer, born in Massachusetts with both parents of William's, born in New Hampshire.

Source 5: The 1920 US Census finds this William M. (given as Wm. M.) still living in Bolton Worcester, Massachusetts; now solely with his daughter, Helen. In this record, this William is given as a 65-yr old, married (as opposed to widowed), farmer. There is no mention on this census page of his wife Mary.

Source 6: The 1930 US Census finds this William M. still living in Bolton, Worcester, Massachusetts; now with his wife, Mary C. and daughter, Helen M. In this census, William M. is given as a 76yr old who is no longer working.
