Biography

Suzanne was born in 1946. AUGUSTA - Suzanne J. "Zsa Zsa" McIntyre, 65, of Augusta, died after a long illness, Monday, June 20, 2011, at Country Manor in Coopers Mills. She was born in Franklin, May 23, 1946, the daughter of Martha Jordan. She grew up in Franklin and graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1963. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Maine System in social work.

She worked for the State of Maine for 17 years, retiring in 2005.

Zsa Zsa was an avid Bingo and Beano player, read a tremendous amount, and also enjoyed board games with her family and good friends.

Suzanne is survived by her mother, Martha Jordan Karst, of Augusta; her son, Gregory McIntyre, of Eddington; her daughters, Victoria Look, and her husband, Charlie, of Augusta, and Debra Sucy and her husband, John, of Belgrade; her grandsons, Matthew, Aaron, Eric, Bryan and Wyatt; and she is now with her special friend, Elizabeth Caldwell.

She will be buried in the Bayview Cemetery in Franklin with her family. (Kennebec Journal 6/22/2011)
