Biography

DELHI (Special) — Sterling W. Guyton, 44, died Thursday evening in a local clinic after suffering a heart attack.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the chapel of Gay's Funeral Home in Delhi, with the Rev. Connie Ward officiating, assisted by the Rev. C. M. Bailey.

Interment will follow in Crowville Masonic Cemetery.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary N. Guyton, Delhi; four sons, Sterling W. Guyton Jr., New Paltz, N.Y.; James Guyton, William Guyton and Glenn Guyton, all of Delhi; a daughter, Miss Mary Ann Guyton, Delhi; three sisters, Mrs. John Carson and Mrs. Ed Wroten, both of Crowville; Mrs. Ruby Ezell, Terre Haute, Ind.; four brothers, Cullen Guyton, Crowville; Lance Guyton, Lake Wood, Calif.; Warren Guyton, El Paso, Tex.; James Guyton, Syracuse, N.Y.

Pallbearers will be Faye Clement, Byrne Walker, J. D. Donovan, Royce Parker, Landis.
