Margaret was born in 1902. She was the daughter of James Rutherford and Ella McMartin. She passed away in 2003.

Obituary: FOSTER-Margaret Elizabeth "Peggy" (nee Rutherford) passed away In Cowlchan District Hospital on Sunday, January 26, 2003 at age 100. She will be greatly missed by her son Earl Drake (Monica), daughter Joan White (Morley) and grandchildren David (Vicky) and Catherine Drake (Lawrence), Steven White (Pamela), Lee-Anne Ouelette (Gary) and great grandchildren Melissa (Martin) Karl, Kristy, Robin, Sally and "Emmie". A Memorial Service will be held at St John's Anglican Church, 3295 Cobble Hill Road, Cobble Hill on Friday, January 31, 2003 at 2:00 pm. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made In memory of Peggy to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
