Biography

Cecelia “Aunt Schoon” DeVerney, daughter of Jacob DeVerney and Matilda (Chippewa) DeVerney, was born on 29 July 1911 in Michigan.[1][2]

She married Ernest William Douglass, son of John Douglass and and Gladys (Wood) Douglass, on 8 February 1930 at Newberry, Luce County, Michigan.[1][2]

She and Ernest appeared on the census of 23 May 1930 in the home of his parents at Mcmillan, Luce County, Michigan.[3]

Cecelia died on 30 April 1993 at Homer Township, Midland County, Michigan and was buried at Midland City Cemetery, Midland, Midland County, Michigan. Her memorial has photos and links to those of family members.[2]
