Biography

Glenna was born in 1944. in Hippo KY.

Glenna lived in Floyd Co. KY. in the 1950's. Her parents bought a farm in Plymouth, OH where she lived from 1956 till she married in 1964. Married to Kenneth Hamer on June 14, 1964. At the Plymouth United Methodist Church on Sandusky St. in Plymouth, OH. They bought a first home in New Haven township, OH. Moved back to Plymouth in the early 1970's to a second home on Sandusky St. In the 1973 they purchased a motel in Willard, Ohio. Triangle Motel. (Which is now Willard Country Inn 2023, run down over the years.) When they were in the middle of signing for purchase in May of the year, The city had its first deadly tornado hit Willard, Ohio. The path of the tornado went through the middle of the motel. They did rebuild and lived there. Ran the motel for 5 years. In 1978, sold the motel and moved to Mansfield, Ohio to a home on Bryonaire Dr. In 1979, moved to a home in Morristown, Tennessee where they lived the rest of their lives.

Glenna passed away on 25 January 2022. I, Kimberly (Glenna’s only daughter) was with her when she passed away.
