Biography

Hugh Fastolf was son of Alexander Fastolf of Great Yarmouth in Norfolk. [1]

By his first wife, Agnes who died in 1370, he was father of 3 sons. [1]

His second wife whom he married before June 1381 was Joan Gisors, daughter of John Gisors of London and his wife, a lady of the Dolsely family. [1] She was widow of Thomas Hanhampstead, a London grocer. [1] Hugh and Joan were parents of three sons. [1]

In February 1391 the King, Richard II, authorized a gift to Fastolf of 50 marks. [1]

Hugh died about 1392. [1]
