Biography

Blake Moore is a part of US Black heritage.

Early Life

Blake was born about 1850 in Tennessee. His parents are unknown, but his father was born in Tennessee and his mother in North Carolina.

Colorado

Blake lived in Brownville, Clear Creek, Colorado in 1880's along with his brother Daniel. Both were miners. He mined for gold and silver in which was still found in late 1800's.^[1]

Marriage

By 1892 Blake was married to Hannah (maiden name unknown) and had two children

1900 found him living in Boulder city Ward 1-2, Boulder, Colorado at 1950 20th Street. . He is listed with his wife and two children and worked as a day laborer.^[2]

Death
