Biography

James Waddington was born out of wedlock in 1840 in Q,[1] to James Waddington (abt.1823-) senior then age 18 and Q.

He possibly living with his unidentified mother, away from his father James senior, who at age 27 in 1851 [2] was living with his own dad George, and in 1861 [3] to 1871[4] James senior was a lodger with his sister, James Junior's auntie Sarah Hannah Waddington (bef.1826-).

James Junior was noted to be an Artifical Flower Maker on his daughter Elizabeth's marriage in 1877,[5] his family on his father's side, were also involved in this occupation: His Auntie Sarah Hannah Waddington (bef.1826-) was a Florist and Artificial Flower Maker, as was his cousins.

James junior married in 1856, [6][7][8] at age about 16 to Mary Adams of Clerkenwell, Middlesex, at St Andrew, Holborn. Together they had 5 children, 3 of which sadly had infant deaths:

  1. Jane Elizabeth aka Elizabeth Jane (abt.1857-1929) [9]
  2. Charles (1860-1940) [10] [11]
  3. James (1864-1864) [12]
  4. William (1865-1865) [13]
  5. Mary (1866-1866) [14]

Their children were born in Holborn, Middlesex.

In 1861, James not found but daughter Elizabeth 6 is in a children's establishment Limehouse, London.[15]

He died age only 30, in 1870, [16] London City, London, England, leaving behind in 1871 [17] his widowed wife Mary and daughter Elizabeth 13 also an Artifical Flower Maker and Charles 11.
