Biography
Flora Mae Hickey was born on December 10, 1887 in Wylie, Collin County, Texas.[1] She was the daughter of William Hickey and Manerva Parson.
She married Oscar Lacey Chandler (1873-1942) on December 25, 1905 in Navarro County, Texas.[2] They had 4 children.
- Leonard Chandler (1906-1907)
- Floyd A Chandler (1908-1970)[3]
- Imagene Chandler (1911-2001)[3]
- Alvin Chandler (1917-1970)[3]
They lived in Anaheim, Orange County, California in 1920, where Oscar was and Oil well driller for the Oil Fields, and she took care of the home and children, Floyd-11, Ima08 and Alvin 2 months old.[3]
She passed away at the age of 89, on February 20, 1977, in Marysville, Yuba County, California, and was buried in the Sutter Cemetery in Sutter, Sutter County, California.[1]
