Biography

John was born in 1675. He was the son of John Buxton and Mary Small.

He first married Priscilla Lynn in 1700. They had three children:

• John Buxton
• Stephen Buxton
• Priscilla Buxton

After Priscilla's death, he married Margaret Chick in 1707. They had four children:

• Mary Buxton
• Bartholomew Buxton
• Margaret Buxton
• Timothy Buxton

He passed away about 1749.
