Biography
Enlisted, April 26,1861, at New York City; mustered in Apr 30, 1861; Private, Co. E, 10th NY Volunteer Regiment (National Zouaves); mustered out with company, May 7, 1863, at New York City.
Present at battles of Gaines Mill, White Oak Swamp, Malvern Hill, Second Bull Run, Antietam, Shepherdstown, Fredericksburg, Mud March and Chancellorsville.
Boatman and later brakeman on the railroad.
According to family history, Died after being shot in a saloon in Dennison, Texas about 1899.
