Biography

John was born in California in 1875. His father was Major Tyler Bither and his mother was Sarah Jane Simmons (see research notes about parents). He died 4/14/1878 and is buried with family members in the Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery (Plot Rural MC 168).

Research Notes I believe his father is Bither-29 in WikiTree but due to conflicting info on that profile I have not attached John yet. It appears his mother was Sarah Jane Simmons who had married McKendrie Jones on 12/15/1852 prior to marrying Major Tyler Bither on 7/25/1858. I am not sure if the Sarah Ward (Ward-13081) that is attached to Bither-29 is the same as Sarah Jane Simmons.
