Ruth M. Dexter , 82, of Moosup Valley Road died yesterday at Kent County Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of Frank W. Dexter .
Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Frank E. and Charlotte (Holdsworth) Bradbury, she lived in Foster most of her life.
She was a charter member of the Moosup Valley Volunteer Fire and Rescue Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Dexter leaves a daughter, Shirley J. Dorothy of Coventry; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Frank R. Gorton and Sons Funeral Home, 721 Washington St., Coventry. Burial will be in Philips Memorial Cemetery.
