Biography

Edith was born on the 10th of August 1878 ^{[1] [2]} at Eden Township in LaSalle County, Illinois. Her parents were Frank Jackson and Sarah Kimball. Shortly after her birth, her parents relocated to Audrain County, Missouri. ^{[3] [4]} Her parents relocated again, in 1902, to Las Animas County, Colorado with a large group of Audrain County residents. She married Daniel Lisenbury on the 4th of February 1903 ^[5] at Trinidad in Animas County. His family had also been part of the exodus from Missouri. Several years later, the extended family moved to Whitman County, Washington. Edith gave birth to her first child on the 7th of February 1910 ^[6] near Colfax in Whitman County. She passed away 4 days later on the 11th ^[7] and was buried in the Colfax Cemetery. ^[8]
