Biography

Sophia Letendre was born at Sutton, MA on May 22, 1876. The Massachusetts birth record gives only her surname and the date of birth. Combining the birth record with the 1880 US Census it can be determined that the birth record is for Sophia. ^[1] She was the daughter of David Letendre and Sophie Labossiere. An older sister had died as an infant.
