Biography

Caroline was born in 1815. She was the daughter of George Friedrich Ensminger (1775-1840) and Anna Maria Marx (1785-1843).

She married Francis Rummell in 1833 in Hancock, OH.^[1][2] They were the parents of the following children, per FS:

Cordelia Ann Rummel Maffett 1835-1910

Worthington Rummel 1837-1905

Francis M. Rummel 1840-1926

Benson Clark Rummel 1843-1905

Mary Rummel 1846-1923

David E. Rummel b. 1850

Sarah Jennie Rummel 1853-1920

She passed away in 1872 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery.
