Biography

John was born in 1703 at Bristol in the Province of Massachusetts Bay (now part of Rhode Island). He was the son of John Lindsey and Elizabeth Munro.^[1]

He married Hannah Hoar at Bristol in 1725.^[2] Children, recorded at Bristol:^[3]

• Hannah b. 20 August 1724
• Elizabeth b. 20 August 1726
• Lydia b. 9 June 1732
• John b. 15 May 1733
• Benjamin b. 12 June 1735
• William b. 11 June 1738
• Mary b. 26 August 1741

He died in 1761 at Bristol, aged 58.^[4]
