Elizabeth was born about 1799. She was the daughter of Robert Bartlett and Elizabeth Land.

She was baptised on 16 April 1799 at Watton, Norfolk^[1].

Her mother in 1808.

Elizabeth married Robert Diggon on 18 November 1819 at Stanford, Norfolk, England, by Licence^[2]. Robert was of the parish of Brandon in the county of Suffolk. The witnesses were Ann Diggon, Emily Bartlett and Falkner Francis Hope.

Norfolk Chronicle 27 November 1819, page 3:

MARRIED.

Thursday se'nnight, Mr. Robert Diggon, son of Mr. Francis Diggon, Thetford, to Eliz. Charlotte, eldest daughter of Mr. Robert Bartlett, of Stanford, in this county.^[3]

They had at least one son (Robert b. 7 Feb 1822) and possibly a second, Francis (b. circa 1823).

Sadly Elizabeth passed away in 1824 at the age of about 25.

DIED.

In Suffolk.- Aged 25, Elizabeth, wife of Mr. Robert Diggon, saddler and harness-maker, of Brandon.^[4]

She was buried at St. Peter's Churchyard, Brandon, Forest Heath District, Suffolk, England^[5].
