Biography
George was born in 1843 in Clifton. He was christened there on 13 September that year.[1]
In 1851 he was away from his family, at boarding school in High Street, Ramsgate.[2]
At the time of the 1861 census, he is a student at King's College London.[3]
On 1 Aug 1866, he married Avice Part in Chorley, Lancashire.[4]
In 1871, the census finds him visiting William Dashwood Fane in Southwell.[5]
In 1881 & 1891, more usefully, he is at home with his family in Marylebone, London. He is listed as a banker.[6][7]
By 1901, he is a widower and is visiting his son-in-law, John McInnes, in Watton at Stone, Hertfordshire.[8]
In 1911, he is in his own home in St Pancras. He was two daughters at home with him.[9]
He died in 1913.[10]
