Thomas Custeau, 91, husband of Marie (Vermette) Custeau, died at his home at 62 Green street, Biddeford, this morning after a long illness.
He was born in Ste. Marie, Canada the son of Thomas and Marie (Guay) Custeau. Until his retirement 26 years ago he had been employed for the Metropolitan Insurance company.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Marion Beaudoin, Mrs. Rose A. Thibeault, Mrs. Florentine Belair and Mrs. Jean McAuliffe, all of Biddeford; two sons, Leon L., Biddeford, and Alphonse, Hempstead, N.H.; three step-daughters, Mrs. Laura Cote, Mrs. Rose Frechette and Mrs. Amanda Cordeau, all of Biddeford; four step-sons, Joseph, Albert and Louise Goudreau, all of Biddeford, and Romeo Goudreau, Camp Ellis; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
