Christopher was baptized 7 Feb 1807. He was the son of Sir Thomas Whichcote, 5th Bt. and Diana Turnor. He married Harriet Tryon, daughter of Thomas Tryon and Harriet Brereton, on 26 June 1831. He was Vicar at Swarby, Lincolnshire, England. He was Rector at Aswarby, Lincolnshire, England. He passed away 4 Jan 1885.
