Biography

Bodild Kjestine was born in 1874. She is the daughter of Hans Kruse and Dorothea Marie Gammelgaard. She was christened on 27 Jul 1874 at Oster Lindet, Haderslev, Denmark.^[1]

In 1883, Bodild Kruse, age 8, left Hamburg, Germany on the Bohemia. She arrived on New York, United States on 23 July 1883. Travelling with her were her father Hans Kruse (47) his wife Kjestine (29) and her siblings Karen (5) and Christine (2).^[2]

Simeon Rader and Botild K Kruse married on 7 Jun 1895 at Webster, Missouri, United States.^[3]

In 1900 Simeon (46) and Bodild lived at Union, Webster, Missouri. The census records Bodild as Kjestine Rader, age 26. Living with them are Simeon's children from his previous marriage, Walther 21), Edward (17), Micah (13), Barbara (11) and Clara (9). There are also three of Simeon and Bodild's children, Hans (4). Dorthea (2) and Jesse (5 months).^[4]

In 1910 Bodild (36) was living at Union, Webster, Missouri, United States with her husband Simeon (56), and children Clara (19), Hans (14), Dortha (12), Jesse, Adam (6) Nellie (3) and baby Thomas. ^[5]

In 1920 Bodild (46) and Simeon (65) lived at Union, Webster, Missouri. Living with them were their children Dorthy (22), Jessie (20_ Adam (16), Nellie (13), Aurther (10) and Pauline (8). ^[6]

In 1940, she lived with her son, Adam (36) ,his wife Delphia (34) and their five daughters, Velma Louise (12), Jaunita June (10), Leona Fay (8), Lois Etta (6), and Eva Christena (1). lived at Union, Webster, Missouri. ^[7]

Bodild probably passed away in 1971. ^{[citation needed]}
