Biography

John Fairweather MOONLIGHT was born 9 Mar 1868. ^[1] He was the son of George Moonlight and Elizabeth Gaukrodger.

John married Azalea May MOONLIGHT (born Haines 7 April 1880) in 1904, at age 36. ^[2] They had 6 children: Azalea Alice MOONLIGHT , Myrtle May MOONLIGHT and 4 other children .

John died in the Christchurch Hospital ^{[3] [4]} According to the headstone of his wife, Azalia, John Fairweather Moonlight was buried in a Papanui Churchyard, Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand. MOONLIGHT - Azalea May d. 6 Oct. 1972 age 92 & photo 0086 wife of John Fairweather bur. Papanui Churchyard ^[5] Azalia May was buried in the Waimairi Cemetery, 190 Grahams Road, Christchurch.^[6]
