Commander Harold William Swithinbank FRS FRSE FRGS FSA DL was a British veterinarian who served in both the army and navy. He was Governor of the Royal Agricultural Society and Vice President of the Royal Veterinary College.
Harold William Swithinbank was born on March 7, 1858 in Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England, United Kingdom, son of George Edwin Swithinbank (<1827–1899) and Constantia Anne Briggs (1828–1890).
Harold married Amy Eno (born on March 27, 1855 in Newcastle upon Tyne; daughter of James Crossley Eno and Elizabeth Anne (Cooke) Eno). Their children were:
Harold died on February 9, 1928 in At Sea, aged 69.[1]
