Biography
Alvah was born in 1796. He was the son of Thomas Hancock and Amy Ward. He passed away in 1847.

He married Juletty Eames and among their children were: Abigail, Joseph Warren, Aurilla & Marhta Angeline Hancock. Alvah died 17 July 1847 in Mt. Pisgah, Iowa while journeying to Utah with the Mormon pioneers.
