Biography
Valentin was born in 1848[1]. He was the son of Georg Hüfner and Barbara née Neuland[2] from house #30in Unterriedenberg. He was baptized on 20 July 1848. His godfather was widower Valentin Neuland from Unterriedenberg.[3]
Valentin was running a distillery business together with his brother-in-law Edwin Buhl, but bought his share before August 1905.[4]
He was married to Amalia Guth, with whom he had at least eleven children.[5]
Between 1905 and 1907 he wrote at least three letters to the family of his German uncle-in-law Daniel Guth.
He died in 1928 and is buried at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Clarion.[6]
