Birth: Caleb was born in Little Compton. The Church Book[1] lists him as the son of Joseph Church (b 1689) and Lydia Randall. But, the Joseph Church b 1689 died in 1712, and it was his son Joseph Church b 1710 who married Lydia Randall - so those are the parents he is attached to.

Birth Research Note Using familysearch, the only Caleb, son of Joseph Church in Rhode Island records of the period is Caleb (1701-1769). Other Calebs in the birth records are Caleb b 1732 son of Caleb and Rebecca, and Caleb b 1741 Little Compton, son of Constant and Kezia.
